Same white pants. Different look.

Different day.  Same white pants.  Like I said, they're big for spring & summer and they go with practically everything.  For a perfect early spring look I've paired my white pants with a long sleeve top and a super fun belt from J.Crew plus I've added some cute peep toe black patent wedges to finishes things off.  Very fun and oh so easy.  (1 comment posted)

A great pair of white pants is a "must own" this season

White pants are everywhere for spring & summer.  White linen pants, cotton pants, white jeans and more.  And while I used to be afraid of them; now I love them.  Though finding the perfect pair can take a little trying on.  I really love my white pants from Ann Taylor LOFT.  I bought mine last year, but this year they've brought them back again.  Great weight & drape.  Super easy to dress up or down.  Plus the wider leg makes them oh so fashionable.  And the most wonderful thing about white pants - they go with just about everything.  How cool is that.

J.Crew Critter Polos - on sale now

A great polo is perfect for wearing now layered under a sweater or over a long sleeve tee and for wearing later all by itself.  However, a great fitting one can sometimes be tricky to find.  The critter polos from J.Crew are one of my favorites.  The cotton pique is perfectly lightweight and soft.  The length is a bit longer and so is the placket with 5 buttons instead of the usually 3.  Very nice and an easy, breezy option for my casual every day.

This short trench from Banana might be just the ticket

As our trenchcoat search continues, this super cute short cotton trench from Banana Republic is definitely my favorite so far.  Perfectly tailored, great details and a great value at $148.  I bought it in blue, but it is available in several other colors as well.  Very fun and definitely worth trying on if you're still in the market for a spring jacket.

Great necklace from White House | Black Market

Don't fall over ladies, but today I'm accessorizing......a little.  I stumbled upon this great necklace the other day at my local White House| Black Market store and I love it.  Great combination of pearls, glass beads, etc.  I'm using it to spice up my little pink & white tee from J.Crew.  So easy and so me.  Maybe I should have gotten the matching earrings.....

Great alternative to a basic tee

I must admit, I really enjoy a great tshirt for spring & summer.  And while the more traditional choice would be a classic crewneck or vneck tee, I really love this super cute ruched scoop neck tee from Ann Taylor LOFT.  I'm sporting a striped one today, but it comes in an array of solid colors as well.  It's not too low and has the perfect amount of stretch to keep it a bit more dressed up.  Plus it's easy on my budget at just $26.50.  Love it. Another good looking jacket for spring

There are a bunch of really cute jackets out there for spring.  Everything from traditional trenchcoats to short, cropped styles with 3/4 length sleeves.  And with spring weather fast approaching now is the time to grab one.  This little aline number I picked up from the Gap this weekend is already getting very limited online. So get out there ladies before the good ones are gone.     (2 comments posted)
