I just discovered this awesome trick to saving money while shopping online. So frustrated because I couldn't use multiple promotional codes when I was shopping at my local Banana Republic store the other day, I went home and attempted to use them online. It worked. I nearly fell over. Not only was it super duper easy, but I saved a ton of money doing it. How cool is that. Check out our latest Tips & Tricks to read more about it. |

Forget the little black dress this summer ladies and opt instead for a little white one. They are one of the many trends for spring & summer. Lots of different styles to choose from shirtdresses to strapless beauties to cute little empire waist ones. Definitely something for everyone. My advice - get yourself one. Plus some of those L'Oreal Towelettes that everyone has been raving about to give you a bit of color and some great looking shoes. You'll be good to go looking oh so fabulous. |

Sure a high end handbag is a must in any fashion girl's wardrobe, but there are times when a great looking, fun colored, totally functional tote bag is just the ticket. Say.....schlepping around town with kids in tow, traveling, hitting the beach - just about anywhere really. And what better time to pick up a new casual tote bag then now with spring here and summer fast approaching. They are super roomy, durable, and still oh so stylish. Plus they're the perfect way to give your "good bag" a break. (1 comment posted) |

The wedge in definitely another one of the must have shoes for the season. Totally different from the ballet flat, these babies give a bit more "lift" to your look. From peep toes to slingback and everywhere in between, there are a lot of options out there as far as style and heel height go. If you haven't already purchased a pair for the season you might want to check out "The Best Wedges" according to Real Simple magazine. They've picked their favorites in 3 categories - high, medium and low heels. How cool is that. |

The first day of spring is just around the corner my friends and it's time to get moving on our spring wardrobes. But with so many trends to choose from it is hard to know where to start. Thankfully Suze Yaloff Schwartz from Glamour magazine was on the TODAY Show with some examples on how to pull them all together. Super cute and affordable ideas. To take a peek at the entire segment go to Todayshow.com and click on the 'Spring into fashion' link. |

FYI ladies, ballet flats are still all the rage. And if you haven't already bought yourself at least one pair for spring it is time you had. There are lots and lots to choose from online and in-stores. Piperlime has a great selection. So does Endless.com and Zappos. Plus a lot of your favorite mass retailers, so you should have no problem finding some in your price range. My favs - the printed ones. Just a little more zip than the plain janers and an oh so easy way to dress up an otherwise ho hum outfit. |

A simple question, but one I start to debate every year about this time. True, they are not the most flattering style of pants on women especially if you are on the shorter side. They have this nasty way of making your legs look shorter than they are. However, they are an oh so easy not to mention comfortable option for spring. My suggestion, try a pair of these fabulous looking, slightly more fitted, just above the ankle length pants that are popping up this spring. They are super cute with the ever popular ballet flat and the more streamlined look helps a bit with the whole leg issues. |

Clothing retailers are branching out....or at least trying to. Lots of clothing stores already sell shoes and upscale handbags, but now more and more stores are getting into the business of selling personal care products. Perfumes, body lotions, you name it. Gap tried it years ago. So did Old Navy. And now Banana Republic. They already have a new collection of fragrances plus a body care line for men and women and now they are considering adding a few more products to their lineup. The question is would you buy shampoo from Banana? Me? I'm not so sure. |

Sure there are a bunch of super cute, trendy jackets out for spring like cropped jackets and ones with bracelet length sleeves. But these are all "add ons" in my opinion and if you don't already have a great looking, classic style trench in your closet you'd better start there. The good news is there are lots to choose from. The bad news is finding one that is both classic yet super stylish can be tricky.

This spring it's all about legs ladies because the hemlines on dresses and skirts are up, way up. Not so short that you can't wear them thankfully, but definitely short enough to show any "extra" leg or thigh you might be hiding. My advice - get moving. Because these mini dresses and skirts are far too cute to pass up, but only if your legs are in "show off" shape. |
