It's all about the accessories baby

If you haven't noticed already, this spring the accessories rule.  Lots of necklaces and bracelets too.  Wide woven belts slung low on the hips.  Handbags galore and shoes with lots and lots of details.  All just waiting to be mixed and matched to your hearts content.  What more could a girl ask for?

Spring outerwear - such a dilemma

It seems every year at this time I start thinking about buying a new spring jacket and every year the same result.....Nothing.  Nada.  Zilch.  As a result, which I am embarrassed to even admit, I have been without a decent one for years.  Is it really that difficult to find the perfect spring jacket that looks great with everything?  Apparently so.

Light gray for spring - this one might be tough

What's up with all the light gray out there these days?  Not exactly the first color I think of for spring.  Not that I don't like light gray per say, I actually really do.  I just don't think it looks that good on oh......nearly everyone.  That said; this may be one of those times when you throw your color chart to the wind and wear it.

Ok, I must admit I'm really in love with these vintage looking, girly girl tops that are everywhere these days.  You know, the pretty little shirts that make you feel so darn feminine.  They're perfect for spring and summer with nice white pants, or pencil skirts for work, and even dressing up your jeans.  Now if I could just decide which one to get..... Shorts - any way you like them

It used to be you could find shorts in 2 different lengths....3 if you were lucky.  It was basically the shorty short shorts, the little longer and definitely more manageable shorts or the quite a bit longer, but not in the hip, stylish sort of way, more like in the these look something my grandmother would wear sort of way.  Well not anymore...

Don't have a denim jacket - now's the time to get one

The denim jacket - a staple in my closet for oh.....about a hundred years.  These babies are the perfect layering piece - over a tshirt, a sweater, and much more.  And now it's even easier to find one you like because they are everywhere this spring.  So if you've every thought about owning one - now's the time honey.  But please....just don't call it a jeans jacket.  Sorry girlfriends.
