 Like I said, it's all about taking a trend and making it work for you. I really like the idea of casual shorts dressed up with a pretty top and shoes - something a bit different, a bit unexpected. But those super slouchy shorts aren't for me and for going out I prefer something a bit longer. So I've paired my longer cargo shorts with a pretty top and added some rockin' shoes. Nothing too crazy, but definitely stylish. I'll add some bangles to finish things off and this look will be perfect for lunch out with the girls.

-Sleeveless ruffle trim top in white from Ann Taylor LOFT.
-Cotton poplin cargo shorts in navy from Ann Taylor. These aren't available online, so check your local AT store for availability. They retail for $54.00.

| I think that top you have on is ADORABLE! So adorable that I had to have it and rushed to my local ATL only to find it sold out, online sizes were limited too. Luckily I located it at a store that would ship to me. Hopefully I guessed the right size. How does it run? |
